 The
name "Nippes Home Productions" stands for a small, but
professional, project-orientated studio.It was founded when Dexter
Dub aka DJ I.R.S. ONE began in 2001 to make his first own sample
beats for a hip-hop project (Shadow Birds) together with Harry
Kane. Fascinated by all the intersting things you could do with
a computer when producing your own music, he started to gather
step by step more equipment around his PC (Macintosh).
By
now the studio has moved from the living room to some more pleasing
location and has been enlarged. For better recordings there is
a cabinet for singers/vocalists now. To receive a good recording
quality, it was invested in a good mixer, audio-interface, a better
Mac, a decent mikrophone and pre-amp, monitor-sound and a sequencing
software (Logic audio). The first album that was recorded at the
"Nippes Home Productions" studio with the "Geschlossene
Gesellschaft"-crew was "Innerer Krieg für ewigen
Frieden".
In
the mean time the producing output has focussed on the genres:
Dubstep, Dub, Jungle und Drum n Bass.
